Accessibility
If you need help using our web site, you may be pleased to know that we've made efforts to remove any potential barriers.
And if you indeed have a physical or visual impediment, this page is for you.
For the fully-abled users that have not given a second thought to accessibility, we offer a couple of pages on the subject, primarily to raise awareness. If you have, or plan to have a web site built, it's something that you really need to be aware of.
Seeing it your way
To begin with, we won't repeat what you likely already know about changing text sizes and setting browser preferences and the like, so we'll keep things short and sweet. And no doubt, you'll have your browser set up just the way you like, so we are not about to mess with it. What you need to know is that our web site should remain consistent, ordered and functional on almost any modern standards-compliant browser.
Access Keys
To help you along, accesskeys are available throughout our web site. If you've never used the accesskey function, try it - you might just like it.
Update: Accesskeys have come under much criticism recently - one in particular being that it is not the place of authors to prescribe which keys are available to users. Additionally, their implementation may be flawed in that certain keys also open browser menus. Until we develop an interface by which users can themselves define their own keys (we are working on it), we have carefully set keys that avoid most but not all browser-specific ones. It's either that or we remove them entirely. In the mean time we hope you find them useful.
