Tamrah Aeryn
The Web site design partners the design for Tamrahs CD release entitled Typical Gurl.
Tamrah is a classically trained pianist and singer-songwriter from Wisconsin, USA. Critics have heralded Tamrah as the young Kate Bush/Tori Amos of the new generation.
Coming to us on recommendation, we were asked to design for her debut album “Typical Gurl” (and yes, it is spelt that way), released on the Swan Lake label in Europe in 2004.
Tamrah's music is deep, reactive and passionate and she has an air of a classical mid-western artist. We thought about the surroundings in which she is inspired and worked with photographs and drawings she provided and blended it all together into a rich package. We also designed some marketing leaflets a small web site as an accompliment to the album.
